I have been photographing this sweet family for some time now. Dad contacted me and wanted to surprise his lovely wife with portraits of their son for Christmas (yes I am behind in blogging!). So many Dads/Husbands contacted me this past Christmas season to surprise their brides with the gift of portraits. Aren’t they incredibly thoughtful? They made my job so much fun. This particular Dad just couldn’t wait to give his wife these portraits, and I am sure he looked at the storybook numerous times before he gave it to his wife, LOL! We had so many adventures this day, and their son absolutely melted my heart with his horse-making noises and the way he latched on to my hand to show me around the farm. It makes my heart smile every time I think of this session and the reason behind it.
