What makes you choose a photographer for your baby’s birth, family portraits, childhood milestone, or momentous wedding day? Some people randomly pick from a list on the internet after perusing through galleries of images…some people rely solely on word of mouth. Some folks prefer studio, natural light, traditional, lifestyle. The choices and price range are endless. So, what is the deciding factor???
It all boils down to one phrase, really…making a connection. And, as many clients would attest, that is what I strive to do when creating people’s portraits. This career isn’t a job, and it’s not about how much money I can make or won’t. It’s about making that connection with people and capturing it through my lens. So many of my clients have touched my heart…they share their newborn babies with me, let me give their children lollipops, allow me to call their grandparents “poppy”, or let me hug them when they’ve just had a bad day. They truly are a joy to me and a blessing.
