Memphis Engagement Photos {Ben & Sydney}
Come check out these Memphis Engagement Photos from Ben & Sydney’s downtown Memphis engagement session. The day Ben called me about his upcoming wedding, I was actually in Mississippi photographing another wedding. He was patient enough for me to get back to calendar for me to verify that I was indeed open on the day of his May wedding. Ben actually grew up here in Collierville, so I was thrilled he used a Collierville photographer for his wedding even though he married in Jackson, TN.
But, I am getting a little sidetracked here! For their engagement session, Sydney actually wanted to take these in downtown Memphis. We started off next to the Orpheum Theatre and walked a few blocks to some great textured locations. We also utilized some other Memphis icons to document “Memphis” for them. They are both Oklahoma fans, so they decided to wear that for their session, too. We actually had a blast walking in Memphis. We shared a lot of laughs over jeans (thanks, Ben!) and over some interesting people we met in the parking lot.
I had a great engagement session with these guys in Memphis. I had an even better time documenting their wedding. Be on the lookout for that post…eventually :).
