Newborn Photography in Memphis TN

For this session, I drove to Oakland, TN. This was my first time meeting with the L Family, and I am really excited to work with them this year on the baby plan! Mrs. L and her family are fairly new to Memphis. I was so happy to capture some family photos and sibling photos along with some precious newborn photos for them! While I was prepping and planning for some images, Mrs. L stated, “It must be so hard going to so many different people’s homes and figuring out what you’re going to do!” I told her it’s one of my favorite parts of being a photographer! I love meeting new people and gathering a game plan. It keeps me on my toes and sharp as a photographer! I love the variety. Well, aren’t these kiddos just precious? Miss E reminds me of Shirley Temple with those curls! Mr. W. could be given the title “Mr. Perfect” because he was SO EASY to photograph this day. Thanks for a great session, L Family! I can’t wait to see you all again soon!

Blessings and Peace,
Cindy

Memphis Baby Photography

Check out the cutie in today’s blog post! Isn’t she just adorable??? Everywhere we went with this little gal, people would stop her parents and say, “She is the cutest baby I’ve ever seen!” I enjoyed seeing this family again for the second series in the baby plan. Mom picked out some adorable outfits that really complemented baby Q’s features. We started the session off at the Q family’s house in Memphis. They wanted to include their other two children (the dogs) in the portraits. I love what we came up with that day with the dogs. Baby Q made my job easy. Seriously–look at those beautiful blue eyes! We have some great ideas planned for her last sessions at some beautiful locations in Memphis. I can’t wait to watch her grow!

Blessings and Peace,
Cindy

Collierville Family Portrait Photographer | Sneak!

Oh goodness! I was going to blog a completely different session today. BUT, after working 14 hours yesterday (yes, 14!!) I received a very sweet text message from this client “dying to see one pic”. So, this morning I start to work on getting one photo ready for the blog since her session is still in queue. Guess what? Website and e-mail are down. At 7:15 this morning, I was on the phone with my hosting provider and Comcast to get everything back up and running. Problem #1 fixed for the day…

Now…for the sneak peak! I’m so happy to share this sneak peek with my readers. I first met Mrs. F through my next door neighbor; Mrs. F also subs at my son’s elementary school. She’s been a GREAT supporter and friend through the years. In the next full session blog post of them, I’ll share more about my connection with them and our session that day, and, of course, LOTS OF PHOTOS <3

Thanks Mrs. F!

PS...Don't forget...Today is National Day of Prayer!

Blessings and Peace,
Cindy

Germantown TN Baby Photographer

I had so much fun meeting this client for the first time! She and her family heard about me through a golf event in Collierville. I was glad she contacted me for her baby’s newborn photos! For this session, I traveled to their home in Germantown. It turns out…her parents live in the same neighborhood that I do. Again…small world! I couldn’t believe how great her baby was during our session together. Big sister had to join in for a few photos, too. I am looking forward to working with them in the baby plan! Enjoy!

Blessings and Peace,
Cindy

National Day of Prayer

Oh, the power of prayer! There have been countless times in my life I have been thankful for that one word–prayer. I often think of it as a direct line to God. At my weakest moments, I am often reminded how much God loves me when someone tells me, “You came to my heart today, and I prayed for you.” Sometimes these statements came known to me as an adult. I never knew how many people prayed for me as a child growing up. I know it’s these prayers that helped mold me and shape me to be who I am today. As children of God, we need to be that “prayer angel” for others. Here are some opportunities you can do that through our church, Germantown Baptist Church, this week:

The 2012 National Day of Prayer will be Thursday, May 3, and Germantown Baptist Church will have opportunities throughout the week for prayer. All week from 7am-7pm the GBC Prayer Room will be open and have prayer resources available to guide your time of prayer. On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7am-7pm GBC will have a Prayer Journey through each of the seven areas of prayer focus. The journey begins in the Bride’s Room, and directions on where to go next in the journey will be found there. Wednesday evening in the Worship Center GBC will have a special time of prayer led by Tom Elkins. Begin your Thursday morning with a family prayer breakfast at 6:15 a.m. in the Faith Building. Call Ann Wilder at 901.969.5803 for reservations by May 2 or register here. From 7:00–7:45 a.m. GBC’s Pastor and staff will lead a prayer time focusing on government, our church, military, family, education, media and business. Churches from all over Germantown will come together at the flag pole outside City Hall (1930 S. Germantown Rd.) for a time of prayer for our local government and city officials at 12:00 p.m. During the evening drive home, from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., the Germantown community is invited to ‘drive thru’ GBC’s entrance and pray with one of our prayer partners.
