Tierra: Memphis high school senior photo session

I have to be honest. It’s always a huge treat when seniors themselves contact me about taking their high school senior pictures. Sometimes parents will arrange it (and I love that, too!). But teens are different creatures. You know it’s true. They have their own style, their own taste, their own way of doing things. Sure…parents do have to approve it. But when a senior contacts me, well, I feel like I’m finding that right mix of creating unique portraits that the student and the parent will love. That’s not easy to do in today’s crazy society.

At any rate, Tierra contacted me, and we scheduled the session. Grandmother came along, and I had the best time getting to know these gals. I love their determination and strong work ethic. The first word that comes to my mind with these gals “fighters”. They don’t quit. I know a little something about that 🙂

Tierra had these awesome outfits, and she rocked them. She is a tiny little thing, but she sure has a big bubbly personality.

I’m so, so excited that I had the chance to meet these gals. I can’t wait to see where Tierra ends up going to college. I know she’ll do great!
